The changing demands of the labor market and the new challenges open new horizons. To ensure the competitiveness of graduates in the modern labor market, Goris State Agricultural College has radically changed its curricula in line with the new state educational standards. In order to implement competence-oriented modular curricula the College should constantly organize staff trainings and capacity building through experience exchange platforms as well as upgrade the facilities in the College. Therefore it is necessary to organize continuous trainings of staff, establish experimental laboratories, cabinets, acquire modern equipment, furniture, enrich the library, and to use new teaching methods by applying non-formal education elements. College tries to localize best practices by exploring the world of vocational education in leading countries by keeping the national values and its own teaching experience.
