HAIS net profit increased by 178%

Jakarta, July 28, 2022 - PT Hasnur Internasional Shipping Tbk (the “Company”; IDX ticker: “HAIS”), a leading maritime and logistics company in Indonesia, today announced its first half 2022 results.

The Company recorded revenue of Rp313.7 billion for the first semester of this year and Rp178.6 billion for the first semester of 2021.

It was mainly driven by 16% higher cargo volume carried by the Company during those periods (1H2021: 3.37 million metric tons (mt) while in 1H22: 3.92 million metric tons (mt). About 38% (2021: 37%) of those cargoes were carried by the Company’s fleet.

Increase of cargo volume was mainly driven by relaxation of regulation of coal export market after export ban in the beginning of this year.

Focus on operational excellence and cost efficiency, the Company recorded net profit for the first semester of 2022 of Rp45.1 billion (increased by 178% yoy).

He continued that the results indicate that the Company is on the right track to execute its strategy and is optimistic that the business will continue to grow to the year end.
